Apple's P/E, Price Target Spread

With Apple down nearly 8% from its recent high, below is an updated chart of its forward 12-month P/E ratio.  As shown, up until the last couple of months, Apple's forward P/E had actually been falling even as its price climbed steadily higher.  Once the stock went parabolic at the start of the year, however, it finally saw some P/E expansion.  Since its share price peaked last week, Apple's forward P/E has fallen from 14.25 down to 13.11.
